Mildly toxic causing mild GI upset. The tuberous roots are more problematic than flowers. Generally causes only minor symptoms.
Symptoms within 2-4 hours
Mild vomiting, diarrhea, skin irritation (rare)
Remove plant material. Offer water. Usually resolves on its own.
Persistent vomiting, severe diarrhea, or signs of distress
Rarely needed. Call vet if symptoms worsen or persist beyond 12 hours.
