All essential oils toxic to cats. Diffused oils inhaled or absorbed through skin causing liver damage, breathing difficulty, and neurological symptoms. Drinking diffuser water extremely dangerous.
Symptoms within 2-12 hours
Liver damage, respiratory distress, neurological symptoms, chemical burns
Remove cat from area. Ventilate. If liquid ingested, call vet immediately.
Drooling, vomiting, difficulty breathing, tremors, weakness, lethargy
Emergency if liquid ingested. Call vet if symptoms from inhalation.
