Green tomatillos from nightshade family cause vomiting. Combined with onions, garlic, and hot peppers creates multiple toxicity pathways. Very irritating to GI tract.
Symptoms within 1-4 hours
Severe GI upset, oral irritation, potential anemia
Call vet. Rinse mouth if possible. Provide water.
Vomiting, diarrhea, oral burning, drooling, weakness
Call vet immediately. May need GI protectants and monitoring.
